Group/Division The Semiconductor Products and Customers (Semi PC) business unit designs, builds and sells KLA’s product portfolio to help chip manufacturers meet high-quality standards for technologies like AI, data centers, automotive and electronic devices. Our inspection, metrology, and analytics systems detect and monitor defects across logic and memory chips, specialty semiconductors, wafers, reticles, advanced packaging, process equipment and materials. The Measurement, Analytics and Control (MACH) division is KLA’s software powerhouse, responsible for developing high-performance software platforms that support semiconductor manufacturing. What You'll Do In this role, you will play a key part in advancing business priorities by delivering high-impact work across your area of expertise. Lead projects related to new product introduction, including definition, characterization, alpha testing, and beta testing. Provide pre- and post-sales application support, which includes collaborating with customers to define problem statements and resolve technical issues. Developing Best Known Method (BKM) documents, training materials, and knowledge sharing Work closely with customer teams on-site to conduct investigations, gather and analyze data, and identify root causes of process patterning errors. Design and implement process tool control solutions to minimize patterning errors and improve yield. Partner with customers to publish technical papers in industry symposiums and journals. Hands-on work with KLA metrology systems and software will be required. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related field. Hands-on experience with semiconductor process tools, metrology applications, or process development. Experience in one or more of the following areas: Overlay Stress-related process errors Scanner tools Lithography metrology Etch metrology Process development Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Self-motivated team player with strong organizational and interpersonal abilities. Knowledge of KLA metrology systems is an advantage. Programming or scripting experience is a plus.
