As our Mechanical Engineer, you will contribute to the design, development, and continuous improvement of automated industrial equipment and material handling solutions. You will work alongside experienced engineers and cross-functional teams, applying first-principles thinking, creativity, and practical problem-solving to develop reliable, cost-effective, and manufacturable solutions. On a given day, you may: Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using 3D CAD software. Create engineering drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and technical documentation. Support projects throughout the product lifecycle, from concept development through manufacturing, testing, and commissioning. Apply lean design principles and Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA). Perform engineering calculations and evaluate designs for functionality, safety, reliability, and cost. Collaborate with production, electrical and software engineering, purchasing, and service teams to deliver engineering solutions. Work with suppliers and vendors to support engineering deliverables. Participate in hands-on assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and design validation. Identify opportunities for standardization, automation, and continuous improvement. Support engineering changes and maintain accurate product documentation. Travel (up to 20%) domestically and report onsite in Chalfont, PA. Qualifications (Required) Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. 0–3 years of relevant engineering experience. Proficiency with 3D CAD software, preferably Creo and Windchill. Knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Hands-on mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
