Mom’s Meals, the leading national provider of refrigerated home-delivered meals in the healthcare market, is looking for upbeat, people-first individuals to join our team as Part-time Bilingual Customer Service Representatives. The starting wage is $18.00/hour.
Standard work hours are Monday-Friday, 10:30am-2:30pm OR 1:30pm-5:30pm (20-29 hours/week).
This position requires 2 weeks of full-time onsite training, Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm.
This is an onsite position at 7000 Fleur Drive, Des Moines IA 50321 and will start on Monday, November 30th.
Offer of employment is contingent upon successfully passing a pre-employment drug screen and background check, where permitted by law.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to
- Handle inbound and outbound customer service calls with our clients placing their meal order
- Address questions, and provide exceptional customer service
- Input order information into the appropriate client order screen
- Document all conversations with client into client information database
- Ensure all assigned clients are contacted and have an order on file
- Contact case managers via telephone, email, and/or fax when a special situation arises regarding one of their clients
- Work quickly and efficiently without making the client feel rushed
Required Skills & Experience
- Fluent in Spanish and English (Spoken & Written)
- High school degree or GED
- 1 year of previous customer service experience
- Basic computer proficiency, including experience learning and using software in a work or school setting
- Clear oral communication skills
- Ability to deescalate situations and quickly resolve customer complaints
- Prior experience adhering to company policies and showing core values
Preferred Skills & Experience
- 1 year of previous call center experience
- Previous experience with auto dialer, multi-line phone system, and/or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams
- Previous experience working with HIPAA policies and procedures
Physical Requirements
- Repetitive motions that include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
- Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting, remaining in a stationary position for prolonged periods
- Visual perception to perform job including peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
