Action Property Management is seeking an experienced, service-driven Food & Beverage Manager to lead food and beverage operations at a premier, large-scale residential community in Sacramento, CA.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional who is passionate about creating exceptional guest experiences, developing high-performing teams, and delivering elevated service standards.

As the Food & Beverage Manager, you'll oversee daily kitchen, bar, and dining operations, ensuring residents enjoy a welcoming, personalized, and memorable experience. We're looking for a hands-on leader who understands that exceptional hospitality is about more than great food and drinks—it's about creating meaningful experiences and building lasting relationships.

What You'll Do

    • Oversee daily food and beverage operations, including kitchen, bar, and resident dining services.

    • Lead, coach, and develop a team of kitchen, bar, and service staff, fostering a culture of hospitality and accountability.

    • Establish and maintain elevated service standards, operational procedures, and quality expectations.

    • Manage staffing, scheduling, inventory, purchasing, and departmental budgets.

    • Ensure compliance with applicable food safety, sanitation, health, and alcohol service regulations.

    • Build strong relationships with residents, proactively addressing feedback and enhancing their overall experience.

    • Collaborate with the Director of Resident Experience to develop innovative dining experiences, special events, and resident programming.

    • Monitor operational performance, control costs, and identify opportunities to improve service and efficiency.

What We're Looking For

    • 5+ years of progressive food and beverage experience, preferably in upscale restaurants, luxury hotels, resorts, private clubs, or similar hospitality environments.

    • 3+ years of supervisory or management experience leading food and beverage teams.

    • Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, service standards, inventory management, and cost controls.

    • Demonstrated ability to recruit, train, and develop high-performing hospitality teams.

    • Exceptional customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.

    • Experience managing budgets, labor costs, and operational performance.

    • Working knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and applicable alcohol service requirements.

    • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in luxury residential communities, private clubs, or resort-style environments.

    • Experience coordinating special events, private dining, and elevated resident experiences.

    • Current Food Protection Manager Certification and California Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification, as applicable to assigned duties.
