Shift: 1st Shift Pay: $21–$24/hr, depending on experience. Support the day-to-day transportation operations, including shipment planning, load consolidation, and the import/export process. Provide customer support for Lineage Transportation Team. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Plan and coordinate multiple customer orders daily, ensuring timely processing and shipment scheduling. Manage meat order schedules and coordinate with production teams regarding product availability and order fulfillment. Schedule pickup and delivery appointments based on customer and operational requirements. Communicate directly with customers regarding order status, product availability, scheduling, and shipment updates. Coordinate export shipments, prepare required documentation, and ensure shipments are ready for inspections. Review and maintain accurate shipping documentation, including bills of lading (BOLs) and export paperwork. Work closely with warehouse, production, transportation teams, and carriers to resolve issues and prevent delays. Perform daily administrative tasks, maintain accurate records, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Monitor transportation activities and assist with identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and service. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES) High School diploma or GED. 2+ years of experience in shipping, transportation coordination, logistics, or a related environment, or relevant certification. Experience with export documentation and/or meat production operations strongly preferred. Knowledge of meat processing, packaging, and production scheduling is a plus. Understanding of shipping documentation, including bills of lading (BOLs). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook. Experience with transportation management systems or similar software preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers, carriers, and internal teams. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize competing deadlines. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Pay Range:$19.18 - $32.40 Why Lineage?
