Investment Research Analyst.

CAP Investment Insights (CII) is Nasdaq’s investment thought leadership function within the Capital Access Platforms business, serving institutional, advisor, and retail/wealth investor communities globally. As an Investment Research Analyst on the CII team, you'll play a critical role in transforming Nasdaq proprietary data into timely, unbiased, and actionable investment insights — serving institutional, advisor, and retail/wealth investor communities globally. You'll thrive in this position if you're analytically rigorous, intellectually curious, and skilled at translating complex quantitative findings into compelling narratives that resonate with diverse investor audiences. Key Responsibilities Retrieve, clean, validate, and analyze data from Nasdaq proprietary and relevant third-party sources to support original investment research. Analyze complex investment and market data to identify trends, drivers, risks, and opportunities relevant to institutional, advisor, and retail/wealth audiences. Contribute to producing timely thought leadership — including thematic investment research, global market perspectives, tactical insights, and client-ready briefs. Translate quantitative findings into clear narratives, charts, dashboards, and visualizations tailored to different investor segments and levels of sophistication. Collaborate with research, commercial, marketing, and regional teams to align research priorities with client needs and business strategy, while maintaining analytical independence. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. 3–5 years of experience in investment research, asset management, financial services, or a related field. Strong understanding of investment concepts, capital markets, asset classes, and the needs of institutional and/or retail/wealth investors. Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to varied audiences. Proficiency in SQL, Python or VBA, and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. Preferred Qualifications Experience with FactSet, Nasdaq eVestment, or other investment performance databases. Experience using AI and large language models to enhance research, analysis, or content development, with appropriate validation and editorial oversight. Exposure to global teams and cross-border collaboration in a fast-paced environment. This position will be located in Philadelphia or Atlanta and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.
