FULL TIMESALES & MARKETING

What’s the role about?

As our Assistant Merchandiser, you’ll support the planning and trading of your product categories, helping to deliver sales, stock and sell-through targets across our channels. Working closely with Buying, Merchandising, Logistics and our wider teams, you’ll use data and commercial insight to identify opportunities, manage stock effectively and ensure products are delivered and launched on time.

Who you are

  • Commercially minded, with a strong understanding of product performance, sales and stock management.
  • Analytical and numerate, with excellent Excel skills and confidence interpreting data to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Proactive and solutions-focused, with the confidence to flag risks, challenge discrepancies and recommend actions.
  • A clear communicator who builds effective relationships and works collaboratively across teams.
  • Supportive and approachable, with the ability to share knowledge and help develop Trainees.

What you’ll be doing

  • Supporting range planning and buy meetings by preparing historical data, analysing product performance and identifying lessons learnt across channels.
  • Monitoring weekly trade, sales, stock and sell-through performance, providing commercial analysis and highlighting opportunities to the Merchandiser.
  • Managing category WSSI, ensuring stock, markdowns, franchise adjustments and future commitments are accurate and aligned with trading expectations.
  • Managing purchase orders, critical paths and supplier communication, proactively resolving delivery issues and escalating risks to protect intake and launch dates.
  • Analysing size performance and ratios, making recommendations to support future buys, repeats and balanced stock availability.
  • Supporting wholesale and branch trading, following up actions and working with relevant teams to maximise product and stock opportunities.
  • Maintaining accurate merchandising systems, launch dates, line cards and reporting, while supporting website checks, markdowns and intake accuracy.
  • Coaching and supporting Trainees, sharing knowledge and working cross-functionally to ensure the smooth running of the merchandising function.

What we offer

  • Competitive salary and company bonus.
  • Up to 65% employee discount.
  • Access to exclusive sample sales.
  • MetLife Virtual GP.
  • Medicash health support plan.
