Shipboard Installations Technical Manager The Opportunity: As a shipboard installations technical manager specialist, you know the complexities of supporting a project from concept to completion. On our team, you’ll oversee a shipboard installation team both tactically including logistics, resources, and technical solutioning and strategically including process definition, management, and improvement. In doing so, you’ll balance cost, schedule, and quality considerations to maintain an aggressive plan in support of installing wireless networking capabilities afloat. You’ll help with tactical and strategic planning using resources such as MS Project, Excel, and Planner and regular interactions with SMEs, schedulers, customers, project analysts, and subcontractors. You Have: 5+ years of experience working with and managing technical installations Experience with stakeholder management and communications Experience with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams Knowledge of shipboard Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) systems Ability to manage both technical shipboard installations tactically and the installation process as a whole Ability to identify systemic risks and update process strategies for mitigation Secret clearance Bachelor’s degree Nice If You Have: Experience supporting DoD customers Experience being deployed or working in a shipboard environment Knowledge of shipbuilding design drawings and practices Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks and projects within critical deadlines Clearance:   Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
