- Develop overhead transmission line designs using PLS-CADD.
- Perform line routing, profile development, and plan & profile drawing preparation.
- Conduct sag-tension calculations and optimize conductor clearances.
- Analyze line geometry considering terrain, environmental constraints, and regulatory requirements.
- Generate construction staking reports, material quantities, and design documentation.
- Coordinate with tower, foundation, survey, and geotechnical engineering teams.
- Review transmission line layouts for constructability and compliance with applicable standards.
- Support design reviews, quality assurance, and engineering documentation.
- Assist in resolving technical issues during detailed engineering and construction.
- Participate in client meetings and interdisciplinary project coordination.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- 5-15 years of experience in overhead transmission line engineering.
- Hands-on experience using PLS-CADD for transmission line design.
- Experience with projects ranging from 69 kV to 500 kV (or applicable voltage levels).
- Strong understanding of transmission line engineering principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in international project teams.
