We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented QuickBooks Online (QBO) Back-End Specialist to provide a combination of financial administration and executive support. The ideal candidate has strong experience using QuickBooks, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting daily business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- QuickBooks Support
- Link bank accounts
- Maintain an accurate chart of accounts
- Categorize transactions within QuickBooks
- Reconcile QuickBooks transactions with the bank and credit card accounts
- Enter, update, and organize financial data accurately
- Review transactions and ensure records are up to date
- Create monthly management report and send to the client
- Review P&L and balance sheets
- Communicate with customers to obtain bank statements
- Support bookkeeping and accounting processes
- Identify and escalate discrepancies or missing information
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation
- Communicate to the vendors to get W9s/1099s
- Administrative Support
- Assist with email management and correspondence
- Track tasks, deadlines, and follow-up items
- Maintain organized files and records
- Communicate with clients and internal stakeholders professionally
- Provide general administrative assistance as needed
- Escalate issues encountered, when needed
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- 3-6 years of hands-on QuickBooks Online experience
- Fundamental knowledge of accounting in terms of profit loss and balance sheet
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with calendar management and appointment scheduling
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
- Ability to work within MST hours
Preferred Qualifications:
- Accounting Degree
- QBO-Certified
- Good knowledge of U.S. vendors
