We are seeking an experienced Lead Agilist / Scrum Master to lead Agile squads within Commercial IT organization. The ideal candidate will have strong Scrum Master experience, Agile coaching skills, and a servant leadership mindset to help teams deliver business value while continuously improving their Agile practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coach Agile teams in applying Scrum principles, Agile frameworks, and best practices.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Identify and remove impediments that affect team productivity and delivery.
Coach Product Owners on backlog management, prioritization, and effective stakeholder collaboration.
Mentor team members and promote accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Foster a servant leadership culture that empowers teams to become self-organizing and high-performing.
Communicate effectively with business stakeholders, Product Owners, and technical teams to align priorities and delivery goals.
Monitor team progress, identify delivery risks, and support the resolution of challenges.
Encourage transparency, continuous feedback, and adoption of Agile practices across Commercial IT.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team effectiveness, predictability, and delivery outcomes.
Strong experience working as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach.
Solid understanding of the Scrum framework, Agile principles, and practices.
Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and supporting sprint execution.
Proven ability to coach and mentor Agile teams and Product Owners.
Strong servant leadership and team facilitation skills.
Experience identifying and removing impediments and resolving delivery challenges.
Excellent stakeholder communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to promote continuous improvement and support high-performing Agile teams.
Must be willing to relocate to Cincinnati, Ohio, and work onsite from day one.
Must not require employment sponsorship during the contract.
Preferred Skills:
Experience leading Agile squads in enterprise environments.
Experience working with cross-functional technology and business teams.
