THE STARTING RATE: $9.50 per hour plus tips THE DAY-TO-DAY: Make and serve alcoholic and non‐alcoholic drinks, proportioning ingredients according to standardized recipes and provide food service as needed Clean equipment, tools, and supplies and ensure equipment is in good working order; including, cleanliness, sanitation and appearance of the bar Knowledgeable of menu items, liquor brands, beers and non‐alcoholic selections available Ring poured or served beverages, collect payment, and follow all cash handling and variance procedures, including preparing daily reports and submitting appropriate paperwork Provide Apprentice Bartender and Bar Porter with training and mentoring on overall function of the bar, guest service and bartending Maintain bar inventory according to set pars and internal controls, and request product to maintain stock in bar Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise refer the matter to management, notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: Takes pride in their work Must be 21 years of age Looks forward to working with a team to provide positive experiences Enjoys helping others and likes to make a good impression Can and willing to work variable shifts, to include weekends and holidays; This is a Part-Time role, where scheduling consists of 24-30 hours per week anytime 11am-12:30am THE PERKS & BENEFITS: Free meals in our employee dining room. The estimated annual tips this role could reasonably be anticipated to receive is: $0 - $16,400. Pay will not be below any applicable minimum wage. Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
