Job Description
Flowcode
Flowcode builds the infrastructure that turns every screen, broadcast, and live moment into measurable, actionable first-party IDs, enabling the largest networks, streamers, and publishers to know their audiences and create new revenue for their advertisers. As the leading offline-to-online conversion and measurement platform, Flowcode is committed to building direct connections between media companies and their viewers. Our products unify audience experiences and data across linear, streaming, live events, and digital.
Role
As an Account Executive, Media & Entertainment, you will sell Flowcode into networks, streaming platforms, studios, CTV and device platforms, gaming publishers, and publishers. Media companies reach hundreds of millions of people across linear, streaming, live events, social, and out-of-home, and most of that audience is still anonymous to them. Flowcode turns those moments into known viewers, subscription sign-ups, and sponsored experiences that ad sales teams can package and sell. Disney built the ESPN FanHouse on Flowcode, an omnichannel fan engagement program spanning College GameDay, the SEC, and the ACC. Paramount renewed and expanded across its broadcast, streaming, sports, and advertising teams, with concepts like a CBS NFL fan experience that combines sponsored trivia, advertiser calls to action, and Paramount+ sign-ups. We also work with Versant, DirecTV, and National CineMedia. This is a quota-carrying individual contributor role: you carry a number and a named list of media companies, a mix of new logos and existing customers to grow, and you are accountable for landing marquee programs and growing them into corporate-wide partnerships across networks, brands, and ad sales. Media spend sits with a small number of very large buyers and runs on the upfront and NewFronts calendar, so you will run long, multi-threaded cycles while also closing fast campaign deals around tentpole moments. The ideal candidate knows how a media company makes money from advertising, subscriptions, commerce, and events, can pitch a new ad product to a head of ad sales, and closes like a seller.
Responsibilities
- Own a named list of media companies (networks, streamers, studios, CTV and device platforms, gaming publishers, and publishers), a mix of new logos and existing customers, carrying full accountability for new revenue and expansion against an annual number
- Break into Tier 1 accounts such as Comcast and NBCUniversal, Warner Bros. Discovery, Fox, Netflix, Roku, Samsung, and Take-Two Interactive, multi-threading from brand marketing into ad sales, subscriptions, and data
- Sell ideas, not software: walk into meetings with a pre-built Flowcode experience tied to a real tentpole (a premiere, a live sports broadcast, an awards show, an upfront presentation) and an ROI case, and ask for the order in the meeting
- Build relationships with heads of ad sales and ad innovation, CMOs and consumer marketing leaders, subscription and growth leaders, sports and live programming teams, partnerships, and audience data teams
- Lead the core media use cases: on-screen codes across linear, streaming, CTV, and livestreams; sponsored experiences and advertiser calls to action that ad sales can sell; subscription and app sign-ups; tune-in and second-screen engagement such as trivia and voting; live event and fan festival experiences; and first-party audience capture with FlowID
- Build Experience Network programs that connect a media company's screens, events, social, and partners into one measurable network that creates new revenue for its advertisers
- Work with media partners' ad sales teams and Flowcode's Agency Pod to bring advertisers into Flowcode-powered integrations, so one media partnership opens many brand campaigns
- Work with Flowcode's Studio, Integration Engineering, and Client Success teams to launch on broadcast timelines and connect results to the partner's audience data, clean room, and CRM
- Drive a deliberate land-and-expand motion, turning a single show, network, or event into a corporate-wide partnership across brands and platforms
- Represent Flowcode where media buyers and sellers gather, including the upfronts, the NewFronts, Cannes Lions, Advertising Week, and CES
- Maintain accurate CRM data, forecasting accuracy, and pipeline reporting for executive review
- Raise the bar for the broader Go-To-Market team by sharing media insight, deal strategy, and winning concepts with peers
Qualifications
- 5+ years of quota-carrying sales to or within media companies. We're open to a range of backgrounds, including ad sales or ad innovation at a network, streamer, or publisher; CTV, ad tech, or audience data platforms; media partnerships; and media agency client leadership
- Relationships across ad sales, marketing, and partnerships at major networks, streamers, or studios
- Fluency in media economics: upfront and scatter markets, how a sponsored integration is priced and sold, what it costs to acquire a subscriber, and how audience data is used in ad sales and clean rooms
- Proven record of consistently exceeding quota on six-figure deals with long, multi-stakeholder cycles, procurement, and legal
- Experience creating or selling a new ad product or sponsored format is a strong plus
- A creative, idea-first selling style: comfortable walking into a first meeting with a pre-built Flowcode experience, demoing it live, and editing it in the room when a buyer asks "can it do this?"
- AI-native working style: prepares accounts with research agents rather than waiting on a dossier, builds their own analysis and pipeline views, and can point to a process they replaced with AI tooling and the result it produced
- Exceptional executive communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to command a room of senior executives and translate technology into business outcomes
- Strong strategic, analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a solution-oriented approach to client challenges
- Experience in fast-paced, dynamic start-up environment with changing priorities
- Proven ability to work effectively within a team, sharing insights and supporting peers to achieve collective goals
- Proficiency with CRM software and familiarity with sales engagement tools
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
