The Indirect Procurement Manager is responsible for the strategic management and development of one or more commodity groups (including IT, Logistics, HR, Marketing, Travel, etc.) in Europe and the US. The role ensures long-term supply security, competitiveness, optimal total cost of ownership (TCO), and continuous development of the supplier portfolio. Where You Make An Impact Develop and execute indirect procurement category strategies across areas such as Consulting, Marketing, Real Estate, HR, Logistics, and Technology. Lead strategic sourcing, supplier consolidation, and contract negotiations to deliver savings reductions, service improvements, and long-term business value. Manage supplier partnerships and governance, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and company requirements throughout the supplier lifecycle. Drive procurement excellence and digital transformation through process optimization, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives. Partner with stakeholders across the business, including Legal and functional teams, to align procurement activities with business needs and risk management objectives. Provide functional leadership and category expertise, overseeing category development projects, KPI delivery, reporting, and guidance to indiect category buyers, where relevant. Comfortable with ambiguity and able to demonstrate establishing structure & process in an unstructured environment. Relevant degree or equivalent qualification, combined with strong financial acumen (P&L, ROI), proficiency in ERP and eSourcing tools, and ideally experience with SRM platforms. Strong commercial and procurement expertise, including supplier negotiation, supplier evaluation, risk management, and data-driven decision-making. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills, with experience engaging senior leaders and operating in global matrix organizations.
