About Us
Powered by Campus Ink, the NIL Store is the No. 1 NIL apparel provider in the country, providing officially licensed apparel to over 40,000 athletes nationwide. Our retail store, known as The Lab, near the University of Illinois campus brings Illini gear and NIL merch straight to fans.
The Role
We're looking for a funny, creative Illinois student to run social media for our campus store. You'll be the store's voice online and turn the people who work there into characters fans want to follow. You'll work with the broader Campus Ink team, but day to day, the content is yours to own.
What You'll Do
- Ideate, shoot, edit, and post 10+ short-form vertical videos per week for the store's TikTok and Instagram
- Build recurring bits and characters around store staff and everyday store life
- Jump on trends quickly and put an Illini spin on them
- Show off new drops, game day rushes, and campus moments
- Collaborate with the Campus Ink social and marketing team on campaigns and launches
Requirements
What We're Looking For
- Current University of Illinois student
- Experience making short-form video (personal accounts count)
- Comfortable on camera and good at getting others comfortable too
- You live on TikTok and Reels, know what makes content feel native, and are comfortable using CapCut, Canva, and native TikTok and Instagram editing tools
- Self-starter who can take an idea from concept to posted video on your own
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Illini sports fan is a plus
