About the role
As a Franchise Founder Associate, you will be the first point of contact for a fixed portfolio of our franchise partners who operate Loco Chicken outside Germany. You are the interface between the partners and headquarters in Berlin. You answer their questions, bring the right people together, and work directly with them to make their business better. This role does not yet exist in this form. You are helping to build it.
You will:
- Lead partners: You know the numbers of every location, set priorities, keep your commitments, and say clearly when something is not working.
- Improve the business: You work with partners on levers such as opening hours, delivery areas, menu, staff planning, and promotions. You implement measures together and check afterwards whether they worked.
- Orchestrate internally: You get answers from Ops, Supply Chain, Tech, Marketing, and Finance, and come back to the partner with a solution.
- Analyze performance: You build your own analyses, find out why a location is declining or outperforming, and derive two to three measures the partner can implement.
- Run business reviews: At a fixed cadence, you review P&L, goals, and measures with each partner.
- Secure standards: You visit stores, coach on quality and customer experience, and are clear when necessary.
- Partner onboarding: You guide new partners from signing to launch.
- Build processes: You develop playbooks, routines, and escalation paths so that partner management does not depend on individual people. You use AI as a standard in this work.
About you
To be successful in this role, you bring:
- First franchise insights: You have seen franchising or food service systems from the inside, e.g. through an internship, a project or a role on the franchisor or franchisee side.
- Business or operations background: You have a degree or apprenticeship with a business focus, or operational management experience in hospitality or food service.
- Numbers under control: You understand KPIs such as revenue, conversion, availability, cancellations, ratings, food cost and labor, and you read a P&L on your own. You derive actions from them: hypothesis, test, result.
- AI in your daily work: You use AI every day for analysis, process design and automation, and you think in prompts, templates and workflows.
- Confident with tools: You work confidently with dashboards, spreadsheets and ticketing systems and quickly find your way around them. SQL is not required.
- Persuasive leadership: You win over entrepreneurs rather than instruct them, and you enforce standards without losing the relationship.
- Clear communication: You explain numbers so that partners act on them, and you align internal stakeholders on a shared goal.
- Languages: Negotiation-proof English and good German for collaboration in the Berlin team.
- Travel readiness: You are regularly on site with our partners abroad.
