Your Impact As a vital part of our frontline triage and emergency team, you will bring calm to stressful situations and deliver high-quality care to small animal patients. Triage & Assess: Prioritize incoming urgent care needs and stabilize critical patients. Advanced Anesthesia & Surgery: Manage anesthesia for life-saving emergency surgeries and monitor post-op recovery. Diverse Caseloads: Provide hands-on, compassionate care for complex cases, from blocked cats to autoimmune conditions. Dynamic Collaboration: Partner closely with DVMs and specialists through diagnostics, treatment plans, and smooth patient discharges. What You Bring Proven experience as a Registered Veterinary Technician in a clinical or hospital setting. Eligibility for RVT registration in Ontario. Strong, established technical skills (venipuncture, IV catheters, anesthesia monitoring, and patient assessment). A compassionate, patient-focused approach with excellent communication skills. Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience in an emergency (ER) setting is an asset, but not required—we will train you on our triage systems.
