CONTRACTREMOTE$7–10/YR

Education Perfect is an EdTech platform designed to empower educators and amplify their impact in the classroom. We help teachers personalise learning at scale through powerful learning, assessment and insights tools, supporting teachers and students to reach their full potential.

We’re looking for an experienced New Zealand Social Sciences Curriculum Advisor to support the development of our online Social Sciences offering for Years 7–10. This is an opportunity to contribute your curriculum expertise to an education platform used by teachers and students, helping shape high-quality digital learning resources that support effective classroom teaching.

This opportunity might suit you if you:

  • Have a strong understanding of the New Zealand Social Sciences curriculum for Years 7–10, including the current curriculum requirements.
  • Have experience reviewing curriculum alignment, learning pathways or educational resources.
  • Can identify gaps, prioritise improvements and make practical recommendations to strengthen curriculum coverage.
  • Are passionate about supporting teachers and improving student learning through high-quality digital resources.
  • Have experience with Education Perfect or other EdTech platforms (an advantage, but not essential).

Project details

The project will commence in early November and continue until mid-December 2026. We anticipate approximately 20 hours of work, with a total contract payment of $2,000 NZD.

The work will involve:

  • Curriculum alignment review: Review our Social Sciences curriculum alignment across Years 7–10 and recommend any changes needed (approximately 8 hours).
  • Learning pathway review: Review the existing learning pathways and recommend improvements (approximately 8 hours).
  • Prioritisation of fixes and gaps: Prepare for and participate in a collaborative session to prioritise identified gaps and improvements (approximately 2 hours).

The remaining time will allow for project preparation, collaboration and follow-up as needed.

If you’re passionate about Social Sciences education and would love to help shape high-quality digital learning experiences for New Zealand teachers and students, we’d love to hear from you!

Please apply online with your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your relevant curriculum expertise and experience.
