Role Overview We are seeking a License Compliance Advisory Specialist to join our License Compliance and Advisory Services function in Korea. This mid-level role is responsible for analyzing software usage and entitlement data, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders, supporting customer engagements, and helping drive compliance matters from initial assessment through timely resolution. The successful candidate will combine strong analytical judgment, professional communication, and disciplined case execution in a sensitive, customer-facing environment. --- Key Responsibilities Compliance Support & Analysis · Conduct license compliance and advisory activities, including software usage assessments, entitlement reviews, and anti-piracy initiatives. · Analyze customer accounts holistically by reviewing licensing terms, entitlement and transaction records, deployment information, usage data, and relevant business context. · Identify potential compliance gaps, risks, and resolution opportunities, and translate findings into clear, evidence-based recommendations. · Manage assigned engagements through key stages of the compliance process, escalating complex commercial or legal matters to senior stakeholders as appropriate. · Support customer discussions and negotiations to achieve fair, consistent, and timely resolutions within approved parameters. · Contribute to advisory and educational initiatives that promote proper software usage and stronger license-management practices. Reporting & Presentation · Prepare accurate internal reports, case summaries, dashboards, and management updates. · Create clear, well-structured presentation materials to support customer, stakeholder, and leadership discussions. · Present analytical findings, key risks, recommended actions, and engagement status in a concise and professional manner. · Maintain a high standard of accuracy, consistency, and quality across all written deliverables. Coordination & Execution · Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Sales, Operations, and other internal teams to align engagement strategy and execution. · Track key milestones, action items, decisions, risks, and timelines to keep assigned matters progressing toward closure. · Maintain complete and organized case records in accordance with internal processes, confidentiality requirements, and governance standards. · Support continuous improvement of compliance processes, reporting practices, and analytical approaches. Communication & Stakeholder Support · Communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external stakeholders in both Korean and English. · Participate actively in customer meetings, internal reviews, and follow-up discussions, with appropriate guidance on complex matters. · Build trusted working relationships while handling sensitive information with discretion and sound judgment. · Prepare meeting materials, document decisions, and ensure agreed follow-up actions are completed. --- Qualifications Education & Experience · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Law, Business, Finance, or a related field. · At least 5 years of relevant experience in license compliance, software asset management, software audit, technology risk, licensing advisory, or a related area. · Practical experience analyzing software licensing, entitlement, deployment, usage, transaction, or audit data. · Experience working with enterprise customers and cross-functional teams such as Legal, Sales, Finance, or Operations. · Business-level fluency in Korean and ideally, reasonable level of proficiency in English, both written and spoken. · Experience with Excel is required; familiarity with Power BI or other data-analysis and business-intelligence tools is an advantage. Skills & Attributes · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex data and develop well-supported conclusions. · Ability to build a comprehensive customer profile using market, industry, competitor, transaction, and internal information. · Sound commercial judgment and the confidence to contribute to sensitive customer discussions and resolution planning. · Excellent organization, case-management discipline, and attention to detail. · Clear, concise, and persuasive written and verbal communication skills. · Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. · Ability to work independently on assigned matters while recognizing when to seek guidance or escalate risk. · Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively across cultures, functions, and levels of seniority. · Professional integrity and discretion when handling confidential or sensitive information. --- Life at PTC is about more than working with today’s most cutting-edge technologies to transform the physical world.
