Graduate Software Engineer.

JUNIOR LEVELENGINEERING
Join Autodesk in Oslo as a Graduate Software Engineer in August 2027 Position Overview At Autodesk Oslo, we develop next-generation, AI-powered architecture design tools. Our teams build everything from advanced 3D web drawing to real-time analytics powering multiple Autodesk products. You'll help shape the Forma Industry Cloud for the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry. About us We're on a mission to help design better cities. With 90% of future population growth expected in cities and construction responsible for 40% of global CO₂ emissions, the AEC industry must evolve. We're building a new generation of cloud-based software that helps architects, urban planners, and real estate developers design sites and buildings in a new way. Our Forma Design applications focus on outcome-based design, helping users weigh living quality (sun, daylight potential, noise, etc.), environmental impact (embodied and operational carbon), and profitability so they can find smarter, more sustainable solutions for their projects. How we work We're a fundamentally agile organization, built on empowered teams that have the freedom to innovate at speed while staying aligned. We believe in servant leadership and team accountability, so teams are trusted to find the best way to develop their solutions, with a bottom-up approach to decision-making. Engineers, product managers, and designers work side by side, collaborating across functions and time zones. We're an agentic-first organization, so working alongside AI tooling is part of how every team operates. Responsibilities From day one, you'll deliver real value as part of an empowered product team. You won't be on the sidelines: you'll own features end to end, help shape what gets built, and see your work reach customers around the world. As a Graduate Software Engineer, you'll: - Build, test, and ship features used by architects, urban planners, and real estate developers worldwide - Take ownership of your work, from idea and design through to release and iteration - Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to solve real customer problems - Take part in code reviews, design discussions, and technical decision-making - Continuously learn, experiment, and improve how we build software Learning and growth We invest in your growth from the start. At Autodesk, learning is part of the job: you'll work alongside experienced engineers, designers, and product managers, contributing to real products while building your skills in a supportive environment. You'll also build the habit of working effectively with AI-powered tools as part of your daily workflow. As a graduate, you'll have opportunities to connect with the wider Autodesk community through events such as Autodesk University (AU), TechX, internal meetups, workshops, and hackathons, as well as external conferences, bringing new ideas and perspectives back to your team. Minimum Qualifications - Eager to learn and thrive in an autonomous, high-agency culture - Collaborative and open to sharing knowledge Experience with coding (coursework or internships) - Comfortable solving complex problems and breaking them down - Able to work in a fast-paced environment, balancing innovation with code quality - Motivated by our mission to design better, more sustainable cities For us to review your application, you must - Upload your CV, - Attach relevant diplomas/certificates - Attach a copy of academic transcripts in PDF format. Even if you feel you don't check off all the items on the list, we still encourage you to apply. Kindly note that applications must include a cover letter and a CV to be considered. At Autodesk, we're building a diverse workplace and an inclusive culture to give more people the chance to imagine, design, and make a better world.
