Key Responsibilities • Prepare and maintain reinsurance accounting records for facultative and treaty business. • Review and reconcile ceded premium, loss, LAE, commission, and recoverable balances.• Analyze aged balances and resolve reconciling items. • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes. • Monitor recoverables and aging reports. • Prepare and submit facultative billings and collection follow-up. • Perform account reconciliations and maintain supporting documentation. • Support audits, compliance, SOX, and internal controls. • Review reinsurance contracts and ensure proper accounting treatment. • Lead process improvements and automation initiatives. • Train and mentor junior accountants and offshore resources. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. CPA or insurance designation preferred. Success Measures Timely financial close, reduction of aged recoverables, accurate billing and collections, strong audit compliance, and continuous process improvement.
