About the role
We're hiring a Senior Product Designer to help travel brands sell in an agentic world, designing the experiences that enable brands across every travel vertical to turn traveler intent into bookings — wherever travelers plan: on a brand's own site and app, in messaging and voice, and inside AI assistants like ChatGPT and Claude. It's one of a small number of design roles at Mobi, with real ownership and a direct line to the people who use what we build.
This role is customer-facing from day one, working hand in hand with the teams at leading travel brands who own the traveler experience, from digital and marketing to loyalty and support. Expect to run discovery, test concepts with their teams and travelers, and turn advanced AI capabilities into products people trust.
What you'll do
Design across the platform. Own end-to-end design across Mobi's agentic commerce platform, from early concept to shipped product.
Work directly with customers. Lead discovery, interviews, workshops and usability sessions with travel brands, and bring what you learn back into the roadmap.
Design agentic experiences wherever travelers plan. Shape conversational flows across web, apps, messaging and voice, and branded apps inside ChatGPT and Claude. Design the choice and confirmation moments that keep travelers in control, and clean handoffs to human agents.
Make governance usable. Design the tools brand teams use to set rules, compare AI-generated content against its sources, approve changes and publish across channels.
Design for enterprise brands. Create configurable, white-label experiences that fit each customer's brand voice, policies and systems.
Prototype and validate fast. Move from sketch to high-fidelity prototype quickly, and use data and customer feedback to iterate after launch.
Build the foundations. Establish and evolve Mobi's design system, patterns and design practices as the team grows.
Partner closely. Work hand in hand with product managers, engineers, and support sales and customer success with demos, pitches and onboarding.
What you'll bring
6+ years of product design experience, including end-to-end ownership of B2B2C or enterprise products.
A track record of taking products from zero to one — things that actually launched, ran and made an impact, not just concepts.
Experience designing agentic interfaces, such as conversational chat or voice experiences where people get things done by talking to the product.
Hands-on experience working directly with customers: partnering with their design and brand teams to understand their brand standards, then applying them to new surfaces like conversational and AI experiences.
A scrappy, resourceful approach. Time and resources are tight, and you know how to get to a good answer fast without waiting for perfect conditions.
Strength across interaction design, visual design and prototyping, with fluency in AI design tools and Figma.
Clear communication and the confidence to lead design decisions with limited oversight.
Nice to have
Consulting, agency or other client-facing experience.
Experience at a startup, or at a larger company in a role that put you in front of customers.
Experience in travel, hospitality, airlines, cruise or tours and activities.
Experience building or scaling a design system at an early-stage company.

Pay Transparency
The base salary range for this US full-time position is between $140,000 - $200,000 and is eligible for an annual company bonus, subject to standard withholding and applicable taxes. All candidates receive equity (ISO) and access to a comprehensive benefits offering. The base salary range reflects the minimum and maximum targets for candidates.
