The position suits recent graduates of a bachelor’s or master’s program, as well as early-career professionals with up to 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Develop timely and rigorous quantitative analyses to enhance clients’ decision making

  • Contribute to Aurora’s product development, by identifying new opportunities and expanding our capabilities
  • Engage with clients to thoroughly understand their requirements
  • Communicate findings to clients

Required attributes:
  • 0–2 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in the energy sector or in consulting (strategy, economic, or financial).
  • Degree in a quantitative subject (Mathematics, Economics, Physics, Engineering, Finance) with a strong academic record and outstanding Grade Point Average
  • Interest in or knowledge of power markets and associated policy frameworks
  • An ability to collect, analyse and interpret complex quantitative data and information
  • Evidence of strong performance in team-oriented environments
  • An ability to communicate and collaborate with both technical and non-technical parties
  • Proficiency in English (C1 level)
  • Written and spoken fluency in Spanish (C2 level)
Desirable attributes:
  • Existing knowledge of the Mexican market and energy markets in general
  • Competence in advanced data analytics (e.g. Python, Advanced Excel)
  • To apply, please submit your CV in English
Some of the benefits we include are:
  • A fun, informal and international work culture
  • A competitive salary package
  • Access to regular coaching and mentoring sessions and the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals
  • Access to the Aurora Academy, our training programme offering a range of opportunities to develop your skills within the responsibilities of your role and within the wider context of the industry
At Aurora we will consider all requests for flexible working. For most roles, the following types of flexibility are usually possible: a hybrid model of remote and in-office working and flexible start and finish times. Please talk to us during the interview about the flexibility we could offer and we will be happy to explore the best available option for you.
