Position Overview
The Program Administrator supports the daily administrative and operational needs of Freedom House, helping ensure efficient communication, organization, and coordination of program activities. This position works closely with program leadership, staff, and volunteers to support a structured and effective residential recovery environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate schedules, appointments, transportation, and program logistics.
- Manage administrative communications, including emails, phone calls, and correspondence.
- Assist with admissions, screenings, and resident documentation.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and online management systems.
- Organize donations, supplies, inventory, and operational resources.
- Provide administrative support to program leadership and staff.
- Assist with tracking resident spending and other program-related records.
- Support efficient daily operations through organization, communication, and problem-solving.
Qualifications
- Previous administrative or organizational experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Proficient in computer systems, email, and office software.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work independently.
- Dependable, flexible, detail-oriented, and able to maintain confidentiality.
- Commitment to the mission and Christian values of Freedom House.
- Valid NC driver's license and good driving record preferred.
Schedule: Approximately 30 hours per week, with occasional evening flexibility as needed.
