ABOUT US

At ACCURE, we empower batteries and those who use them.

Batteries are a cornerstone of the clean energy and mobility transition. At ACCURE, we make battery systems safer, more reliable, and more sustainable through the power of cloud-based analytics.
Our highly scalable monitoring and optimization platform helps operators of grid-scale energy storage systems and electric vehicles understand, operate, and protect their batteries - unlocking better performance, longer lifetime, and safer operation across assets around the world.

Our mission:
Safe, efficient, and sustainable batteries for a clean energy future.

To achieve this, we bring together passionate builders, technical experts, and clear thinkers. At ACCURE, people from diverse backgrounds work closely toward a shared goal. We value curiosity, ownership, and humility, and we’re looking for highly motivated individuals who want to make a real impact as part of a fast-growing, international team.

Your Role

  • Data Exploration: Dive headfirst into vast datasets capturing battery performance, safety and lifetime metrics.
  • Advanced Analytics and model development: Harness your analytical prowess to identify trends, anomalies, and predictive patterns.
  • Visualization: Transform complex data into captivating visual representations.
  • Innovation Collaboration: Work alongside top-notch researchers and engineers, contributing to projects that redefine the future of energy.

Your Skills

  • Experiences: You are currently enrolled in a technical course of studies with a focus on battery engineering (e.g. electrical or mechanical engineering) or data analytics (e.g. computational science).
  • Know-how: You have a high interest in analyzing and interpreting lithium-ion batteries and you've already gained some basic battery knowledge.
  • IT: Profound knowledge in the use of MS Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel). Basic Python knowledge is a plus.
  • Working method: You bring initiative, flexibility and organizational skills to the table while working carefully and reliably.
  • Personality: You have very good problem-solving skills and strong interpersonal skills (analytical, hands-on mentality and team-oriented).
  • Languages: Strong communication skills in German and English.

Our Offer

  • Enhance your skills: Elevate your analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills, mastering python and other tools that are crucial in the fast-paced battery world.
  • Contribute to change: Your work won't be confined to a back corner. You'll actively contribute to projects, leaving a lasting impact for ACCURE.
  • Cultivate creativity: Embrace a culture of curiosity, experimentation, and creativity that encourages you to think beyond boundaries.
  • Learning: You get the chance to collaborate with and learn from leading battery experts on battery diagnostics, field data analysis, cutting-edge cloud-based infrastructure and many more.
  • Experience: An opportunity to experiment with one of the world’s largest (and constantly growing) battery operation datasets.
  • Office-based: Join us in our lovely office in Aachen and feel the start-up spirit.
  • Offer: Up to 20 hours/week.

At ACCURE, we're committed to cultivating an environment that promotes equality, diversity, and inclusion. We believe our unique qualities must be celebrated as they are critical to our innovation. It's essential to us that you bring your authentic self to work every single day, no matter your age, ethnicity, religion, citizenship, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability status, neurodiversity, or otherwise. Inclusion isn't just an initiative at ACCURE. We strive to embed it not just into our core values but throughout our entire ecosystem.
