Job Description What You’ll Do In this role, you will: Serve as a front-line contact for new business and natural gas service inquiries. Respond to customers and review service request applications for accuracy and completeness. Contact customers when additional information or clarification is needed. Help customers understand the natural gas service installation process. Create and organize new business project documentation. Enter and maintain accurate information in systems such as Salesforce, ESRI and OpenGrid. Coordinate with customers, contractors, builders, employees and Sales Operations team. Track clarification cases and route them to the appropriate team members for resolution. Maintain accurate records used for departmental reporting. Provide timely and accurate information about company products and services. Use established guidelines and procedures to make decisions and keep customer requests moving forward. What You’ll Bring Required High School Diploma or GED. 3–5 years of customer service or sales experience in a high-volume, product-driven, customer-focused environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to accurately collect, interpret and record information. Sound judgement and the ability to make decisions within established procedures and guidelines. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel. Strong customer service skills and a professional approach to customer interactions. Ability to successfully complete the required Writing Skills Evaluation Assessment. Nice to Have Basic knowledge of natural gas and electrical appliances. Familiarity with gas-line installation and related techniques. Experience with Salesforce, ESRI or OpenGrid.
