Shepherd Center is a private, not-for-profit, 152-bed expanding facility, specializing in the medical treatment, research, and rehabilitation for people with neurological injuries or illnesses. The Shepherd Center is accredited by the Joint Commission and the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and ranked by U.S. News & World Report as one of the top 10 best rehabilitation hospitals in the nation. Qualifications: PhD or PsyD from an APA/CPA-approved program in Clinical Psychology. APA-accredited internship completion. Successful completion of a 1 or 2-year postdoctoral fellowship/residency, or more than 5 years clinical work experience with similar military patient populations. Experience working in outpatient medical settings and with interdisciplinary treatment teams is preferred. Board certified or eligible for board certification in Rehabilitation, Health, or Clinical Psychology is preferred. Eligible for licensure in the State of Georgia.
