As a Dental Assistant, you’ll provide hands-on chairside support and help keep appointments running smoothly.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide chairside assistance across a range of dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments and equipment
- Clean, sterilise and maintain instruments in line with infection control requirements
- Keep clinical areas clean, organised and well stocked
- Support dentists and the wider clinical team during appointments
- Help patients feel comfortable and at ease throughout their visit
- Assist with the smooth day-to-day running of the clinical area
To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:
- Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting, or at least two years’ dental assisting experience
- Sound knowledge of sterilisation and infection control procedures
- Familiarity with dental terminology, procedures and practice software
- A calm and friendly approach when working with patients
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills
- The ability to work efficiently in a busy clinical environment
- A reliable, team-focused approach and clear communication skills
