Deluxe, a global leader in Payments and Data solutions, is seeking a Senior Product Manager to help drive the strategy and execution of the developer platform and payment API ecosystem. This role is ideal for a highly technical Product Manager who thrives at the intersection of product, engineering, and developer experience. This position centers on API products, developer tools, SDKs, and platform capabilities that enable software providers, ISVs, and partners to seamlessly embed payment functionality into their applications. The ideal candidate has a strong technical foundation, experience working closely with engineering teams, and a passion for building products that developers use. What You'll Do • Own the end-to-end developer experience for Deluxe Merchant Services, from discovery and integration through production launch and ongoing operation. • Define and drive the developer platform roadmap across APIs, SDKs, embedded payment experiences, webhooks and events, developer tooling, documentation, and testing environments. • Reduce integration complexity and time to market by identifying friction throughout the developer journey and creating intuitive, scalable integration experiences for developers with varying levels of payments expertise. • Work closely with developers, ISV engineering teams, implementation teams, solution architects, support teams, and internal stakeholders to understand integration challenges and translate them into platform improvements. • Define product requirements and priorities for developer-facing platform capabilities, balancing usability, scalability, security, technical considerations, and business needs. • Use customer feedback, developer research, product usage data, and technical insights to prioritize platform enhancements and roadmap investments. • Translate complex technical capabilities and integration challenges into clear product strategies, requirements, and business outcomes for stakeholders across the organization. • Champion developer-first and API-first product principles across the broader Product and Technology organization, helping ensure new payment capabilities are designed for simple and consistent external consumption. Required Qualifications • 3-5 years of product management experience in SaaS, fintech, platform, or developer-facing products. • Experience building or managing API-driven products, platforms, or developer ecosystems. • Strong technical fluency with APIs, SDKs, webhooks, integrations, and modern software platforms. • Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear product priorities and business outcomes. Preferred Qualifications • Experience in payments, fintech infrastructure, embedded payments, or related financial technology products. • Familiarity with core payment concepts such as authorization, capture, settlement, tokenization, and recurring payments. • Experience working with products or platforms serving ISVs, SaaS providers, technology partners, or external developers. • Familiarity with developer experience best practices, including API usability, documentation, sandbox environments, and integration tooling.
