What You Will Be Doing As a Logistics Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading logistics operations, ensuring regulatory compliance and driving operational performance across our Defence business. Key responsibilities include: Leading and developing a team of Shipping and Compliance Controllers, ensuring effective resource planning, operational continuity and the timely delivery of parts and engines. A good understanding of shipping processes, export controls and regulatory compliance, ideally within an engineering, manufacturing, aerospace or defence environment. Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and external partners. Experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives, ideally using Lean or Six Sigma methodologies, with Green Belt accreditation being advantageous. The ability to manage operational priorities and deliver against challenging deadlines. Experience using SAP, Power BI or similar systems would be beneficial.
