About Parabilis Medicines

Parabilis Medicines is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company dedicated to creating extraordinary medicines for patients with serious diseases by unlocking biologically important targets long considered undruggable. The company has pioneered a new class of alpha-helical peptides – Helicons™ – capable of modulating intracellular proteins that have historically been beyond the reach of conventional medicines. The company’s lead investigational medicine, zolucatetide, is the first and only direct inhibitor of the β-catenin:TCF interaction, a central node in the Wnt/β-catenin pathway that has eluded drug developers for decades. Zolucatetide is being evaluated in the clinic across multiple Wnt/β-catenin-driven diseases, including desmoid tumors, familial adenomatous polyposis (FAP) and a range of other solid tumor indications. Beyond zolucatetide, Parabilis is advancing additional Helicon-based programs focused on other challenging targets where we believe our medicines could have life-altering impact. What’s the opportunity?

We are looking for an Associate Director, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to join our Finance team and partner with leaders across the organization. Reporting to the SVP, Finance, this role will help lead financial planning, forecasting, and reporting across the company, with a focus on the systems, processes, and consolidated roll-ups that underpin the FP&A function. The Associate Director will translate business goals into actionable financial models, scenario analysis, and targeted resource allocation, and will serve as a trusted partner to functional stakeholders, including the Research and Clinical Development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as an FP&A business partner to functional leaders across the organization, providing financial insight to support decision-making and resource allocation
  • Participate in annual budget, long-range plan, and forecast cycles, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and timeliness of data across functions
  • Assist with consolidated financial roll-ups and management reporting, including company-level budget vs. actual and forecast analysis for Finance and leadership
  • Help to improve FP&A systems, tools, and models (e.g., planning and forecasting platforms, reporting templates), partnering with Accounting, IT, and other teams as needed
  • Assist in the development and standardization of FP&A processes, calendars, and controls to improve efficiency, data integrity, and scalability as the company grows
  • Track risks and opportunities to the annual budget and reflect updates in the forecast
  • Build financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic planning, portfolio prioritization, and business development activities
  • Deliver clear monthly and quarterly analysis and commentary to stakeholders, highlighting key drivers, variances, and actions
  • Support cross-functional initiatives and ad hoc analyses as needed

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in finance, including FP&A, with demonstrated experience participating in planning and forecasting cycles
  • Pharmaceutical or biotech FP&A experience required
  • Experience supporting R&D or Clinical Development strongly preferred
  • Experience with FP&A systems and processes (e.g., Adaptive, Anaplan, Oracle EPM, or similar) and building consolidated reporting
  • Strong Excel and financial modeling skills
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to partner with and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize AI tools for day-to-day work; baseline proficiency is expected, and advanced or innovative use of AI is a strong plus
