About the Role
V Company is looking for a detail-oriented Ads Operations Specialist to support the execution, optimization, and delivery of digital advertising campaigns in Japan.
In this role, you will work closely with Sales, Finance, and technical teams to ensure campaigns launch on time, meet client objectives, and follow platform policies and local market requirements. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills, operational discipline, and an understanding of Japan’s digital advertising ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, launch, monitor, and optimize digital advertising campaigns across relevant platforms.
- Review campaign materials, targeting, budgets, tracking, and schedules before launch.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to collect creative assets and resolve operational issues.
- Monitor campaign pacing, performance, delivery, and key performance indicators.
- Identify discrepancies or underdelivery and implement corrective actions.
- Perform quality-assurance checks on creatives, landing pages, URLs, tracking tags, and campaign settings.
- Prepare regular campaign reports and communicate performance insights to stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate campaign records, workflows, and documentation.
- Ensure advertising activities comply with company policies, platform requirements, and applicable Japanese regulations.
- Recommend improvements to processes, tools, reporting, and campaign efficiency.
- Stay informed about developments in ad technology, privacy, measurement, and the Japanese digital media market.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in advertising operations, campaign management, digital media, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with ad platforms, ad servers, campaign-management tools, or analytics platforms.
- Experience working with agencies, publishers, ad-tech companies, or digital platforms.
- Knowledge of programmatic advertising, display, video, mobile, social, or search advertising.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines.
- Understanding of Japan’s advertising practices, data-privacy requirements, and digital media landscape.
- Experience supporting regional or global teams in a bilingual environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Professional proficiency in Japanese and working proficiency in English.
- Eligibility to work in Japan.
