The Role
We're hiring Animators, full-time in El Segundo, CA and freelance remote from California, to bring our social content to life and keep a high volume of deliverables moving. The work ranges from simple, punchy motion for social posts to the steady, detail-driven job of resizing and versioning assets across every platform and spec. You'll turn approved creative into scroll-stopping motion, collaborating closely with Creative and Production, bringing the ambition to make even a quick cutdown feel crafted, and the challenger mindset to suggest a smarter way to build it.
Social Animation
- Create simple, polished animations for social posts, stories, reels and short-form video from approved creative
- Animate type, logos, product shots and graphic elements with clean timing and easing
- Build short cutdowns and loops (6s, 15s, GIF) optimized for each platform
- Add motion to static layouts to lift engagement without overcomplicating the design
- Follow brand guidelines and motion standards so every piece feels on-brand
- Export to platform specs for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and paid social
Resizes & Adaptations
- Resize and reformat animated and static assets across aspect ratios (1:1, 4:5, 9:16, 16:9) and placements
- Version master files for different copy, offers, languages or end cards
- Adapt layouts so key messages and logos stay legible and safe in every format
- Meet file size, length and format specs for each platform and media partner
- QA every export before it ships, catching typos, timing issues and spec misses
- Keep project files organized, named and archived so anyone on the team can pick them up
Collaboration & Craft
- Partner with Art Directors and Designers to interpret creative intent and bring it to life in motion
- Work with Project Management on timelines, priorities and turnaround for high-volume batches
- Coordinate with Social and Account teams on platform requirements and client feedback
- Take direction well, turn revisions quickly and flag issues early
- Bring ideas: suggest motion approaches, templates or workflows that make the work better or faster
Full-Time vs. Freelance
We're hiring for both. The work is the same; the engagement differs. Freelance include day rate/hourly rate.
Full time salary is based on skill, location and portfolio.

What You Bring
- Open question: years of experience to require (agency or in-house motion/social work preferred)
- A portfolio or reel showing social animation and multi-format resizing
- Strong After Effects skills, plus Photoshop, Illustrator and Adobe Media Encoder
- Familiarity with Premiere Pro, Figma or Canva is a plus
- A solid grasp of typography, timing and layout across aspect ratios
- Working knowledge of social platform specs and best practices
- Organized, detail-obsessed and comfortable juggling many deliverables at once
- Clear communication and a low-ego, collaborative approach to feedback
