Job Description: Senior Software Engineer - AI Solutions Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer - AI Solutions with strong expertise in Full Stack Software Development, Cloud Technologies, Data Engineering, and modern AI application development. This is a hands-on engineering role for an experienced software developer who can independently design, build, and deliver scalable software solutions while contributing to the development of AI-powered products and capabilities. The ideal candidate will combine strong software engineering fundamentals with practical experience implementing cloud-native applications, enterprise integrations, and Generative AI solutions. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work closely with Product Owners, Solution Architects, Data Engineers, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders to develop high-quality software solutions that address complex business challenges while maintaining engineering excellence, scalability, and long-term maintainability. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable enterprise applications, APIs, and services. Own the end-to-end delivery of software features and components from design through deployment and support. Participate in technical design reviews and contribute to architecture discussions and technology decisions. Develop and maintain microservices, integrations, and reusable software frameworks. Build cloud-native applications leveraging modern development frameworks and engineering best practices. AI Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered application features and services for production environments. Build and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions utilizing enterprise knowledge sources and vector databases. Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI services into business applications and workflows. Implement prompt engineering strategies, AI testing methodologies, and evaluation frameworks to improve solution quality and reliability. Design semantic search, document intelligence, and AI-assisted automation capabilities. Collaborate with data engineers and solution architects to ensure data quality, accessibility, and effective AI solution deployment. Monitor, evaluate, and optimize AI application performance, accuracy, and user adoption. Apply security, privacy, governance, and responsible AI principles throughout the AI development lifecycle. Contribute to the adoption of AI engineering best practices, reusable frameworks, and development standards across projects. Requirements / Skills Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. 5-8 years of professional software engineering experience. Strong hands-on experience developing enterprise applications using Python and/or Java. Experience designing and developing REST APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and cloud-native applications. Experience building modern user interfaces using React or similar front-end technologies. Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and API integration patterns. Experience working with Microsoft Azure (preferred) or AWS cloud platforms. Experience with DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, Azure DevOps, containerization, and automated deployments. Strong understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, testing methodologies, and secure development practices. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams. Preferred AI Skills & Experience Hands-on experience building and deploying Generative AI solutions in enterprise or production environments. Strong understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), embeddings, vector databases, semantic search, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). Experience working with AI frameworks and orchestration platforms such as LangChain, Semantic Kernel, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar technologies. Experience integrating AI capabilities using Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, AWS Bedrock, Anthropic, OpenAI APIs, or equivalent platforms. Understanding of prompt engineering, AI evaluation methodologies, model monitoring, and observability practices. Familiarity with Agentic AI concepts and AI workflow orchestration patterns. Experience developing data pipelines and supporting infrastructure required for AI and machine learning workloads. Exposure to Snowflake, Databricks, vector databases, and modern enterprise data platforms is preferred.
