Become a part of our caring community Why this role exists: Our Medical Assistants help make sure everything runs smoothly between checking in and seeing the doctor. They prepare patients by bringing them to the exam room, doing basic health checks, and explaining things clearly and kindly. By doing this, they help make sure patients get good care and doctors can work more efficiently. How You'll Make an Impact: In this onsite position, you report to the Center Administrator and take on a more specialized role. Instead of just helping with procedures, you become a Patient Specialist. Your main job is to make sure patients are fully prepared before the doctor sees them. Inbox & Worklist Management: Manage the EMR inbox using specific routing rules to handle patient messages, lab results, and medication adherence follow-ups with pharmacies. Your goal is a same-day "touch" for all tasks to maintain clinical flow. Education & Loop-Back: Your role is to make sure patients really understand what they need to do next. You do this by asking them to repeat back the instructions in their own words (the loop-back method). This helps avoid mistakes or confusion, so things don't have to be redone, and helps patients stay healthier. Use your skills to make an impact Requirements: We assess requirements practically.
