Job Description Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities: OFFICE VISITS: Assesses and monitors changes in the physical and psycho/social needs of patients utilizing the nursing process Educates and counsels patient and/or caregiver with provisions for follow-up Prepares the patient for and assists in complex procedures and treatments Administers and documents all medications including IV therapy accurately CHARTING: Patient charting is entered into the EMR accurately and in a timely manner Provides clinical direction to the support staff (LPNs, Medical Assistants) MISCELLANEOUS: Responds to emergencies as needed Checks code cart weekly, if applicable Stocks supplies as needed Required Qualifications: Minimum education: Associate Degree; Bachelor’s Degree is preferred NY State RN License BLS Certified; ACLS certification required Critical Care experience required IV certification preferred Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Completes competency skill checklist within first 3 months Vascular/surgical experience highly preferred EMR experience is a strong plus Strong interpersonal and communication skills Pay Range: $43.61 - $54.52 Hourly The provided compensation range is based on industry standards and salary determinations will be made based on numerous factors including but not limited to years of experience and location of position.
