Job Summary
The Billing Officer is responsible for managing customer billing, providing customer service as it relates to incoming billing questions across various customer plans, and maintaining the accuracy of internal customer databases.

Position: Billing Officer
Work from Home
Schedule: Monday to Friday | 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Responsibilities:
• Customer Onboarding & Service Setup
o Accurately onboard new customers in Autotask and update CRM records.
o Set up and maintain services, plans, pricing, and quantities.
o Ensure data consistency between CRM records and billing systems.
• Billing Management
o Generate and issue invoices through Xero based on data in
Autotask/Emersion·
o Ensure monthly billing is accurate, complete, and on schedule.
o Update billing when services are added, removed, or cancelled.
• Customer Billing Support
o Respond to customer billing queries in a timely and professional manner.
o Make necessary billing adjustments based on service changes or corrections.
o Work closely with internal teams to resolve customer issues.
• Bank Reconciliation
o Perform daily bank reconciliations in Xero.
o Allocate customer receipts accurately against invoices.
o Escalate any unidentified or unusual transactions to the Finance team.
• Collaboration & Reporting
o Work closely with Operations and Sales teams to ensure smooth workflows.
o Assist with reporting and maintain accurate billing and service documentation.
o Support ad-hoc billing, reconciliation, and finance projects as required.
Qualifications:
• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Excellent data entry skills and computer literacy, able to manipulate data quickly and produce reports that can be utilized by stakeholders.
• Exposure to customer billing systems such as Emmersion and Connect.
• Experience working with customer-facing businesses (e.g., retail, telecommunications) preferred.
