FULL TIMESALES & MARKETING

🎮 Join Playstack – Where Indie Games Break Through!

At Playstack, we believe in the power of creative vision—and the people behind it. From breakout hits like Balatro, Abiotic Factor, and Mortal Shell I and II, to critically acclaimed gems like The Case of the Golden Idol, we champion originality and innovation in every title we publish. With several major releases coming in the next 12 months, there’s never been a better time to join our journey.

📌 About the Role

We’re looking for a Social Media Associate to support our Social Media and Community Manager team in the launch of our future success. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, takes pride in producing high-quality work, and is excited to learn what goes into successfully launching a game in today’s competitive market.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

  • Own monthly social calendars across all active games and platforms - this includes from initial concepts through to approval, scheduling, publishing, and reporting.
  • Coordinate with departments (marketing, art, video, etc) to ensure social assets are briefed, created, reviewed, and delivered on time.
  • Write social copy and schedule approved posts through Hootsuite.
  • Ensure social content is prepared and scheduled for key marketing beats.
  • Manage social account updates, including bios, links, banners, profile images, and pinned posts as needed per key marketing beats.
  • Stay up to date with social trends and identify opportunities for content.
  • Take over all the game social media accounts (not the Playstack social accounts).
  • Set up new social accounts for new games where necessary.
  • Manage daily interactions across active social media channels, including comments, replies, messages, and general community engagement.
  • Monitor community sentiment and flag significant issues or emerging conversations.
  • Weekly KPI tracking across social + community channels for all games.
  • Monthly social reports covering performance, top-performing content, key learnings, and recommendations.

🚀 What You’ll Gain

  • Direct Game Launch and Post-launch Experience: Own real social channels and calendars for upcoming indie titles, moving social media campaigns from initial concepts to live execution.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work side-by-side with internal art, video, and marketing teams to see how a full-scale game campaign comes together.
  • Real-World Analytics & Reporting: Track weekly KPIs and dive into monthly performance metrics to learn what drives player engagement.
  • Award winning working Culture: Work within one of the 'Best Places To Work' of the industry, for the third year in a row!

🌟 What You’ll Bring

  • 1-2 years experience in a similar role, preferentially within the entertainement industry
  • Interest in video games and social media communities
  • Excellent and timely written communication
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to learn cooperation with video team
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

🎁 What We Offer

  • Hybrid working pattern (2 office days per week)
  • Employee Assistance Program focused on holistic wellbeing
  • Staff discounts platform
  • Social events (both online and in person)
  • Company-matched pension contributions up to 5%
  • Fully stocked London office
  • 22 days holiday (pro rata, excluding bank holidays) + 3 days end-of-year studio closure
