Job Description: Parsons is looking for an exceptionally talented QA/QC Engineer to join our site team on a major public realm development in Diriyah, which includes a series of iconic and neighborhood parks, open spaces, and over 55 kilometers of streetscape. The objective of this program is to create a vibrant, inclusive environment that enhances livability, accessibility, and community well-being. What You'll Be Doing: Review the Contractor's material submittals and obtain the required approvals according to the applicable standards and project specifications. Serves as the focal point for the scheduling and control of construction materials and equipment at the job site Conducts inspections to determine if work has been done in accordance with contract specifications. Coordinates work of subconsultants for material testing Maintains office files related to the project, material inspections and writes daily diaries. Prepares daily reports and other documentation, as required by the contract Verifies that only approved materials are incorporated in the work Recognizes potential conflicts, issues and problems on construction materials, and reports to supervisor with proposed solution Collects, reviews and files Certificate of Compliance, MSDS, inspection tags and other information relevant to the materials used. May provide technical guidance to lower-level Participates in the development of job safety practices and in the preparation of safety reports Participates in the development of quality control reports and procedures Capability to perform math calculation in order to prepare engineering calculations, graphs and charts Observe, check and record works execution is in accordance with approved methods Check material delivered are as approved and properly stored What Required Skills You'll Bring: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution. Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience, with a strong focus on infrastructure projects. Experience in the operations and maintenance of roads, highway, bridges at domestic and/or foreign locations. Knowledge of English grammar and composition, the ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing; to follow oral and written instructions, prepare written messages and simple charts and graphs.
