What You'll Do
Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Take ownership of the full spectrum of accounting and month-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely reporting.
- Prepare financial reports, account reconciliations, balance sheet schedules, and supporting analyses.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, Singapore accounting standards, corporate policies, and internal control requirements.
- Maintain lease registry.
- Coordinate year-end audits and serve as the main liaison with external auditors.
Tax & Compliance
- Support corporate tax, GST filings, and statutory reporting requirements.
- Prepare and coordinate information required by tax advisors, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
Others
- Assist in import and export LC/SBLC submission.
- Assist the Global Team in payments as required
What You'll Need
- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Finance.
- At least 4 years’ relevant finance and accounting experience in trading, commodities, oil & gas or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and Singapore Financial Reporting Standard (SFRS) Singapore tax regulations, and internal control.
- Experience in LC/SBLC.
- Good attention to detail.
- A team player, collaborative, organised, driven individual, resourceful and tenacious to follow through.
- At least fair proficiency in spoken Mandarin for communication with China-based stakeholders, as well as in reading Chinese-language documents.
