Meaningful Work & Exceptional Support
You care deeply about your students. You also deserve a career that leaves room for your own wellbeing.
At Chatterboxes, we’re building a more sustainable path for Speech-Language Pathologists through meaningful mentorship, clinical collaboration, and a culture where asking for support is encouraged.
We’re seeking an SLP to support primarily elementary-aged students in a specialized therapeutic school setting. This opportunity offers meaningful work in functional communication, AAC, and interdisciplinary care, with access to people and resources that help you grow.
About the Role
You’ll work with students whose communication profiles range from nonspeaking AAC users to verbal students developing language and social communication skills. Many students also need individualized support for emotional regulation, sensory needs, and behavior.
The role is primarily treatment-focused, with communication support integrated into classrooms and daily routines. You’ll provide push-in, individual, and small-group services as appropriate, helping students communicate in the moments that matter to them.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering speech-language services aligned with student IEPs
- Supporting AAC, total communication, language, and social communication
- Collaborating with educators, related service providers, behavioral staff, and families
- Monitoring progress and completing service documentation
- Contributing to IEP goals, progress reports, and team meetings as assigned
- Adapting therapy to students’ communication, sensory, and regulation needs
