MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT As a Systems Engineer Sr Principal, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of our customer’s classified workstation environment. You will play a crucial role in architecting, engineering, and operating a classified secure workstation enclave, ensuring secure, reliable, and compliant access to mission-critical systems. KEY DUTIES Lead and support the architecture, engineering, and O&M of the classified secure workstation enclave, including Active Directory and GPOs, ensuring enclave integrity, security, and performance. Collaborate with the Engineering Lead, systems engineers, cybersecurity specialists, and stakeholders to design, build, configure, and sustain workstation services that meet stringent security and operational requirements. Utilize Active Directory, GPOs, MECM, and core security controls (Identity & Access Management, Configuration/Change Management, Vulnerability Management) to implement and maintain secure, standardized workstation configurations. Review and improve system and process architectures; develop and deliver test plans, technical briefings, and product recommendations. Follow and update engineering procedures, artifacts, and playbooks for the workstation enclave and core security controls. Support Continuous Monitoring (ConMon) validation and annual security assessment preparation and execution. The likely salary range for this position is $157,250 - $212,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
