Job Details: Position Summary: This position will operate the machinery, box formers, pack cases, stack cases, and hand peel/rack off product. Responsibilities: Setup, tear down, and properly operate all of the equipment in the department. Move racked product as needed and remove racks. Pack and weigh accurately dated product into correctly labeled and dated boxes. Check, open, and repackage leakers. Trim tar from product. Box sausage for random cuts. Process and stack random cuts. Package all sliced and diced products. Perform leaker checks. Perform necessary weight and process checks. Collect and process production samples and rework. Ability and willingness to perform basic math functions (i.e.: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). Ability and willingness to work overtime and/or weekends as needed. Ability and willingness to complete all paperwork and SAP functions. Perform general housekeeping duties in the department. Maintain general manufacturing practices. Complete HACCP checks and documentation. Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF requirements. Perform all positions of job rotation as needed. Perform any other work as assigned by management. Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. Ability and willingness to push/pull/lift with arms below waist/at shoulder/above shoulder level minimum of 20 pounds frequently. Ability and willingness to use both hands for rapid mental muscular coordination, simultaneously. Ability and willingness to stand/walk/climb/bend for up to 10 hours. Ability and willingness to flex/grip with wrist/hands frequently. Ability and willingness to work in wet conditions and cold temperatures at 35 degrees. Ability and willingness to distinguish depth perception.
