The organization is seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Engineering Project Assistant. In this role, you will provide non-technical administrative support to project engineers and teams. Your responsibilities will include submitting procurement requests for necessary parts, overseeing the receipt and organization of these parts, and ensuring they are ready for the kitting process. What You Will Do Assist engineering teams with various non-technical tasks; Engineering vendor part requests, Peer review requests, SW & document releases, Parts ordering & kitting DWOR Shipping, Jama/Jira/confluence administrative tasks Ordering parts and modules from various vendors/tools and coordinating the receipt and kitting of the items. Submit procurement requests for necessary parts, ensuring all specifications and quantities are accurately ordered. Oversee receipt and organization of ordered parts for the kitting process. Submit completed kits to the build team, ensuring all parts are available. Track work requests through Jira or other Project Management tools (Jama, Jira, Confluence, SCL, ect..) Managing Peer Reviews by creating them, tracking action item closures and closing out the Peer Review. Assisting in the release of SW and documents Generate accurate and professional monthly presentations for tracking project and financial performance (EAC/Quad Charts) Prepare Domestic and International shipping documents.
