Johnson Controls is seeking a Channel Accounts Manager to grow indirect business for our Controls and Building Management Systems portfolio in Dubai. You will work with channel partners, consultants, installers, developers, and end-users to build demand and support project success across the UAE. Role Overview This role focuses on channel development, consultant specification, and project-driven sales. You will combine commercial drive with technical understanding to expand market presence, support bids and opportunities, and keep a healthy pipeline in CRM. What will you do Develop and grow indirect sales through channel partners, distributors, consultants, installers, developers, and end-users. Drive new business opportunities across bids, projects, and specifications for Controls and Building Management Systems. Build strong partner relationships and support opportunity identification, qualification, and closure. Work with consultants and installers on product positioning, technical submittals, and project specifications. Prepare and deliver product presentations, technical presentations, and live demonstrations. Support estimations, submittals, technical reports, and interpretation of technical designs. Maintain opportunities, quotes, projects, contacts, and correspondence in Salesforce or other approved CRM systems. Track market trends, competitor activity, and product gaps to support territory planning and growth. Coordinate with R&D, Training, Product Management, and Technical Support to address partner and customer needs. How You Will Do It You will own your pipeline and commitments with accountability, integrity, and safe, professional execution. You will stay close to consultants, installers, and channel partners, focusing on what matters most for the customer and the project. You will use market feedback, candor, and practical problem-solving to improve every day. You will collaborate across sales, technical, product, and training teams to win as one team. You will manage priorities with disciplined planning, clear follow-up, and timely communication. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or equivalent engineering discipline. 5-7 years of sales or business development experience in Controls or Building Automation Systems within the UAE. Experience generating new business through customers, channel partners, and distributor networks. Proven track record of getting Building Automation Systems specified by consultants and installers in bids and projects. Experience preparing estimations, submittals, technical reports, and interpreting technical designs. Ability to build strategic partnerships and communicate business value to consultants, developers, and decision-makers. Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal. Experience using Salesforce.com or another CRM system. Willingness and flexibility to travel as required. Nice to Have Previous channel sales experience in the BMS and Controls portfolio. Experience working in a multinational business environment. Exposure to technical presentations, product demonstrations, exhibitions, or trade shows.
