The ideal candidate works well in a busy kitchen, follows recipes consistently, and keeps food quality, presentation, and cleanliness a priority.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards.
- Complete daily prep work and keep your station stocked, organized, and ready for service.
- Coordinate with the culinary and service teams to deliver accurate orders promptly.
- Support restaurant, banquet, and other food service operations as assigned.
- Follow food safety procedures for handling, storage, labeling, temperature control, and sanitation.
- Monitor product freshness, rotate inventory, and help minimize food waste.
- Safely operate and clean kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
- Communicate shortages, equipment concerns, and special dietary requests to the culinary leadership team.
- Follow hotel policies and maintain a professional, team-oriented approach.
What You’ll Bring
- Previous cooking experience in a hotel, restaurant, banquet kitchen, or similar setting preferred.
- Working knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and safe food handling.
- Ability to follow recipes, manage multiple orders, and maintain quality during busy periods.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork.
- Flexibility to work scheduled shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to perform essential kitchen duties, including prolonged standing, lifting supplies, and working around heat, with or without reasonable accommodation.
