We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Operations Executive to join our team. This varied and fast-paced role is at the centre of raceday and event delivery, providing the opportunity to make a real impact on the customer experience while supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the Racecourse.

🟢 The Operations Executive will
Support the planning and delivery of all racedays and events, ensuring operations run safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.
Act as Duty Manager for racedays and events, carrying out event checks and ensuring excellent venue presentation and safety compliance.
Coordinate contractors and external partners, including security, stewarding, cleaning and other operational services, to deliver a seamless customer experience.
Work closely with internal teams to support event planning, logistics and operational set-up, ensuring every event is delivered successfully.
Manage raceday casual staff, including recruitment, rota planning, payroll administration and on-the-day coordination.
Maintain health and safety records, support compliance activities and play an active role in promoting a strong safety culture across the Racecourse.
Oversee operational equipment, facilities and site services, ensuring issues are identified and resolved promptly to maintain high standards.
Support budget management, purchase orders, invoicing and cost control, helping to drive an efficient and commercially focused operation.

Experience coordinating operations or events in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
A proactive problem-solver who takes ownership, uses initiative and sees tasks through to completion.
An excellent communicator, comfortable building positive relationships with colleagues, customers, contractors and partners.
A highly organised individual with strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise a varied workload effectively.

Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to work evenings, weekends and travel when required to support operational needs.
