Care Assistants - Twilight - Drivers Only.

Care Assistants - Manchester (city-wide) - Drivers Only

Experienced Female Drivers | Block Pay (Not Pay-Per-Call)

Whether you’ve supported a loved one or simply enjoy helping others, you already have the foundations to become a great Care Assistant.

At Be Caring, we believe great care starts with great people. If you’re kind, reliable and want to make a real difference in your local community, we’d love to welcome you to our Be Caring Manchester team.

Please note: due to the personal nature of the support, this role is open to female applicants only (in line with the Equality Act 2010).

No sponsorships available

Pay & Shift Pattern

This is a role for female drivers with previous care experience. You’ll work regular evening/twilight shifts (exact start and finish times to be confirmed), including some weekend nights as part of your rota. Full details of the shift pattern will be discussed and confirmed at interview.

  • Pay: £15.30 per hour – drivers
  • Mileage: 50p per mile

Working Hours

  • 10:00pm until 4:00am
  • Working 3 or 4 twilight/night shifts per week
  • Weekend working on a rotation

Where You’ll Work

You’ll support people in their own homes across Manchester (city-wide), helping them to stay safe, comfortable and independent at home during the evening and night.

You’ll be working on double-up care, meaning you visit people in pairs rather than alone, and you’ll be supported by an on-call rota so there’s always someone to contact for guidance or support during your shift.

Job Description

If you have previous experience as a care worker, you’ll make an excellent twilight Care Assistant. You will:

  • Support people to achieve their personal outcomes, working alongside families and professionals
  • Provide dignified personal care that respects privacy and choice
  • Promote independence and confidence using enabling approaches
  • Deliver personalised care based on individual needs, choices, and preferences
  • Communicate clearly, recording and sharing information with the right people at the right time
  • Help people stay connected to their community, accessing local services and support

Induction Training

You’ll receive comprehensive paid induction training, including:

  • Be Caring values, going Above & Beyond to meet personal outcomes.
  • Dignity and respect, safeguarding and equality and diversity
  • Confidentiality and professional boundaries.
  • Fluids and nutrition and safe administration of medication.
  • Moving and positioning, basic life support, and pressure sores (React to Red)
  • Infection prevention and control, health and safety.
  • Learning Disabilities (Oliver McGowan Tier 1), mental health and capacity.
