Job Details Nurse Manager - Radiology Care Unit & Vascular Access Nursing Full Time | 80 hours/pay Newark & Wilmington, DE ChristianaCare Health System is seeking a Nurse Manager for our Radiology Care Unit (RCU) and Vascular Access Nursing (VAN) departments. The Nurse Manager will oversee staff for both of these departments that work both our Newark and Wilmington Campuses. In this role, the Nurse Manager will: Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to adult and geriatric patients, including the ability to obtain and interpret information to identify patient needs. Assure compliance with regulatory and professional standards. Identify priorities of management responsibilities and demonstrates the ability to delegate. Develop and maintain method to ensure patient satisfaction on assigned unit. Perform routine patient rounds to establish visibility, teamwork, and monitoring the level of care/practice. Remain cognizant of risk management issues and takes appropriate measures to correct. Support and communicate Department of Nursing and unit-based PI initiatives. Lead nursing practice and care delivery in designated unit. Promote the autonomy of the nursing staff, encouraging independent decision making and problem solving. Support and maintain shared decision-making on unit. Experience & Education Requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. Completed Master's degree is nursing or alternatively, completed BSN with a Master’s degree in healthcare or business management field required. Professional certification in a related nursing specialty required. Nurse Executive certification preferred Five years of appropriate leadership experience required Current RN licensure accepted in the state of Delaware required. Annual Compensation Range $123,614.40 - $197,766.40 This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting.
