About Chamber:
Cardiovascular disease remains the leading cause of death in America. At Chamber, we're rebuilding the system for cardiology, creating a world where outcomes, not volume, define success.
We partner with independent cardiologists to help them lead population health efforts in their communities, equipping them with technology, data, and operational tools that turn complex insights into better care for patients.
Our model blends clinical expertise, thoughtful design, and a modern operating platform that connects physicians, patients, and payers. We believe that making healthcare work better requires not just better software, but better connections between the systems, people, and information that make care possible.
Role Overview:
We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to own the platform capabilities and integrations that connect Chamber to the broader healthcare ecosystem.
This is a highly technical, systems-oriented role spanning healthcare interoperability, third-party integrations, APIs, data exchange, and the shared platform infrastructure that powers our care delivery model.
You'll work across a diverse set of technologies and partners, from EHRs, health information exchanges, payer data platforms, and clinical data networks to the communication and operational services that support our day-to-day workflows, including telephony, messaging, fax, and email.
Your job is to make these connections reliable, scalable, and genuinely useful. You'll own the product roadmap, lead technical discovery, translate complex integration requirements into clear engineering priorities, and work closely with internal teams and external technology partners to bring new capabilities into production.
Equally important, you'll think beyond individual integrations. You'll help establish reusable patterns, shared services, and a long-term platform strategy that allows Chamber to expand its ecosystem without introducing unnecessary complexity or operational overhead.
The right person combines strong technical fluency with sound product judgment. You're comfortable getting into API documentation, data models, and system architecture, but equally capable of stepping back to understand the business problem, evaluate tradeoffs, and determine what deserves to be built.
This is a hands-on product role with meaningful ownership and a direct impact on how Chamber scales.
Key Responsibilities:
Platform Strategy & Product Ownership
Own and evolve Chamber's roadmap for interoperability, external integrations, APIs, and supporting platform capabilities.
Translate clinical, operational, and business needs into clear product requirements, prioritized roadmaps, and actionable technical initiatives.
Identify opportunities to build reusable integration frameworks, shared services, and platform capabilities rather than relying on one-off implementations.
Partner closely with Engineering, Data, Clinical, and Operations to evaluate architectural tradeoffs, integration patterns, and build-versus-buy decisions, and to ensure integrations deliver measurable value.
Balance immediate integration needs with longer-term investments in reliability, scalability, maintainability, and operational efficiency.
Healthcare Interoperability & Data Exchange
Lead product discovery, technical scoping, and delivery of integrations across EHRs, health information exchanges, payer systems, clinical data networks, and other healthcare technology platforms.
Develop a strong understanding of the clinical and administrative data moving through Chamber's ecosystem, including patient identity, encounters, medications, clinical records, claims, eligibility, and care coordination information.
Work with engineering and external partners to define data mappings, synchronization requirements, API contracts, and integration workflows.
Drive improvements in data completeness, accuracy, timeliness, and consistency across connected systems.
Help establish scalable approaches to data ingestion, normalization, identity resolution, reconciliation, and bidirectional synchronization.
Ensure interoperability solutions account for healthcare privacy, security, consent, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Third-Party Integrations & Technology Partnerships
Own the product lifecycle of integrations with external technology providers, including communications platforms, workflow tools, and operational infrastructure.
Lead technical discovery and requirements gathering with prospective vendors and integration partners, evaluating capabilities, limitations, dependencies, and implementation complexity.
Work directly with partner product and engineering teams to define integration requirements, align delivery plans, and coordinate joint roadmaps.
Contribute to technical due diligence, vendor evaluation, and build-versus-buy assessments in partnership with Engineering, Security, and business stakeholders.
Identify opportunities to consolidate fragmented capabilities, reduce vendor dependencies, and improve the consistency of shared platform services.
Maintain a clear understanding of existing integrations, their capabilities, operational health, and opportunities for improvement.
Technical Execution & Reliability
Translate complex system interactions and integration requirements into well-defined product specifications, acceptance criteria, and implementation priorities, from technical discovery through rollout and iteration.
Establish clear expectations for integration reliability, observability, error handling, data reconciliation, and recovery from failures.
Help define meaningful measures of integration health, including data freshness, completeness, processing failures, manual intervention, and time to onboard new partners.
Partner with engineering teams to identify recurring operational issues and prioritize durable solutions over temporary workarounds.
What Success Looks Like:
In Your First 90 Days
You've developed a strong understanding of Chamber's technology architecture, existing integration ecosystem, and the role external systems play in our care delivery model.
You've built relationships with Engineering, Data, Operations, and key technology partners, mapped our highest-priority integrations and dependencies, and identified meaningful opportunities to improve reliability, simplify complexity, or accelerate delivery.
You're independently driving technical discovery and execution for at least one high-impact initiative.
By Six Months
You've established ownership of a clear, prioritized integration roadmap and are independently leading major healthcare interoperability and third-party integration initiatives, from initial discovery through production rollout.
You've helped establish more consistent expectations for technical scoping, integration readiness, monitoring, and ongoing support. Existing integrations are becoming more reliable, manual interventions are decreasing, and new integrations are easier to plan and deliver.
You're proactively identifying opportunities to invest in shared platform capabilities, and Engineering, Data, and business stakeholders look to you as the product owner for our integration ecosystem.
By Twelve Months
You're the clear product owner for Chamber's interoperability and integration platform.
You've delivered meaningful improvements in the breadth, quality, and reliability of our integrations while helping establish the technical and product foundations for continued growth.
We've moved beyond treating every integration as a standalone project, with more reusable capabilities, clearer technical standards, better visibility into integration health, and a deliberate long-term platform strategy.
Most importantly, Chamber can connect new partners, access critical healthcare information, and enable new care delivery capabilities more quickly and reliably, with less manual effort and operational complexity.
Requirements:
5+ years in product management, with real ownership of technical platforms, APIs, or complex third-party integrations.
At least 2 years of experience delivering integrations in healthcare technology, including EHRs, payer systems, clinical data exchange, or health information networks.
Strong technical fluency, including REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, authentication, data models, and asynchronous integration patterns, plus working knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7 and FHIR.
A track record of working with engineers and architects to turn ambiguous, multi-system problems into clear requirements and executable roadmaps.
Preferred: prior experience as a software engineer, solutions architect, technical implementation lead, or integration engineer.
Chamber Values:
Our values guide how we lead, collaborate, and care:
Low Ego: We stay grounded, curious, and open to feedback.
Empathy: We build trust through compassion and thoughtful communication.
Courage: We take action, think critically, and challenge ideas respectfully.
Ownership: We follow through with integrity and hold ourselves to high standards.
Grit: We push through ambiguity, move with urgency, and solve problems with horsepower and heart.
Location:
Remote within the United States, with the ability to work ET or CT hours. You must be legally authorized to work in the US, as we cannot sponsor visas at this time. Periodic travel to Chamber offices, partner sites, or team offsites may be required.
